Privacy policy

This is a courtesy translation. Only the German version is legally binding.

The short version, so you do not have to read all of it: this website sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, counts no visitors and loads not a single file from a third-party server. Fonts, icons, images and the script all live here. The only processing is what every web server logs technically — which is why there is no consent dialog on this site.

1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Project
Nexapps — Nexview
E-mail
contact@nexapps.dev

No data protection officer has been appointed; the conditions of § 38 BDSG are not met.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by:

ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich
Inh. René Münnich
Hauptstraße 68
02742 Friedersdorf
Germany

The host processes the data arising when the website is accessed on my behalf, on the basis of a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR. The servers are located in Germany; no transfer to third countries takes place.

3. Server log files

When this website is accessed, the server automatically collects information that your browser transmits and stores it in log files:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of the request
  • name and path of the retrieved file
  • amount of data transferred and whether the request succeeded
  • the previously visited page, if your browser sends it (referrer)
  • browser, version and operating system

Purpose: delivering the website, operational security and troubleshooting, and defending against attacks.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in providing the website in a technically sound and secure manner.
Storage period: log files are deleted after seven days at the latest. If they are needed to investigate a specific incident, they are kept until that is resolved.

This data is not merged with other data sources and is not used to identify you.

4. Cookies, local storage, analytics

This website sets no cookies and places nothing in your browser's local or session storage. There is no analytics, no reach measurement and no usage tracking — neither with an own nor with a third-party tool. A consent dialog under § 25 TDDDG is therefore not required, because no information is accessed on or stored in your device.

The language switch in the top right is an ordinary link to a second page; your choice is not stored.

5. No content from third-party servers

No web fonts, map services, video platforms, icon libraries, advertising networks or third-party scripts are embedded. All files — including the video and every image — are served from the same server as the page itself. While viewing this page your browser does not connect to any other provider.

6. Links to other sites

This website links to GitHub (GitHub Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) and to the MIT licence. These links load nothing in advance — they only take effect when you click them. From that point the privacy policy of the respective provider applies, and data may be transferred to the USA. For GitHub, see the GitHub privacy statement.

7. Encrypted transmission

This website is served exclusively over HTTPS. The connection between your browser and the server is therefore encrypted; requests over HTTP are redirected to HTTPS automatically.

8. Contact by e-mail

There is no contact form on this website. If you write to me by e-mail, I process your address and the content of your message solely in order to answer it. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, or Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the matter relates to a contract. The message is deleted once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

9. Nexview itself

Nexview is a program that you run on your own server. The data that arises — accounts, settings, requests — stays entirely with you. Neither I nor this website receive any of it; there is no sign-up, no telemetry and no callback channel. For the operation of your own installation, you are the controller under data protection law.

10. Your rights

You have the following rights towards the controller:

  • access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • objection to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)

An informal e-mail to the address above is sufficient.

11. Right to lodge a complaint

Without prejudice to any other remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. An overview of the German authorities is available from the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

12. No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

13. Version and changes

Version of this policy: 18 August 2026. If anything about the website changes, this policy will be updated. The current version is always available at this address.
